The Power of Knowing
The Dementia Journey
Part One: Is It Normal Aging or Dementia?
Tuesday, July 16 | Noon to 1 p.m.
Understanding comes from knowing. A dementia diagnosis touches many people’s lives and can be overwhelming for the patient, their family, and caregivers. “The Dementia Journey” is a three-part webinar series that will explore the dementia experience from diagnosis through advanced progression of the illness.
Wherever a person is along this journey, this series will offer guidance to help patients and caregivers plan for needs using resources available at each stage of the journey.
Learning Objectives
• Learn the difference between normal forgetfulness that comes with aging versus signs of dementia.
• Learn about the different types of dementia and how to confirm a dementia diagnosis.
• Learn recommended actions to take early in the dementia journey.
