The Power of Knowing

When Grief and the Holidays Collide:
Coping with Grief and Change During the Festive Season

Tuesday, Nov. 12 | Noon to 1 p.m.

Understanding comes from knowing. The holiday season can be a joyous time for most but can also be a difficult time for many who are navigating the festivities while coping with grief. Many feel overwhelmed by expectations during this season and uncertain how to make changes so the season can be as meaningful as possible. This webinar will provide practical ideas for creating new routines, rituals and plans depending on what is possible this year and what traditions provide the most comfort.
We will also discuss how to be a supportive presence for those in your life who are experiencing grief during this holiday season.

Learning Objectives

• Learn how to set realistic expectations for the holiday season.
• Learn about options to create new traditions while honoring the past.
• Learn about resources to rely on during the holidays and throughout the year for the person grieving and for those offering support.
