When Grief & the Holidays Collide
Holidays are intended to be a time of joy and togetherness. Yet, if you have recently experienced the death of a loved one, the holiday season can be a difficult and overwhelming time.
We invite you to attend this 90-minute program, designed to help you understand why the holidays are so difficult after a loss and to offer ways you can approach this season in a way that supports your healing during this time of grief, while also celebrating your loved one’s memory.
Following the presentation, please join us in creating a Hope Pot to take home. We will plant bulbs and pansies in a small pot. Early next spring, your pot will come to life with new growth and flowers, which will serve as a reminder that better days lie ahead.
NOTE: Materials will be provided, but you are welcome to bring your own special pot, if you wish.
