The Lusk Center Wins 2016 NCASLA Award of Special Recognition

(GREENSBORO, NORTH CAROLINA)— The John A. Lusk, III MD Caregiving Education Center at Hospice and Palliative Care of Greensboro (HPCG) has received an Award of Special Recognition by the North Carolina Chapter of the American Society of Landscape Architects.
This award recognizes excellence in landscape architecture and professional achievement. Landscape installations from across the state were submitted to an out-of-state committee comprised of practicing landscape architects that selected the award winners.
The landscape supports the purpose of the Lusk Center by offering critical meeting space for educational programs, community outreach and fundraising. The central landscape element is a richly planted and flexible terrace space capable of accommodating groups of up to 120 people under tents for large educational gatherings. A more intimate terrace, scaled for smaller groups, provides contemplative areas for visitors and staff.
The Lusk Center landscape was designed by Revington Reaves Landscape Architecture and Planning, PLLC.
