A dementia diagnosis touches many people’s lives and can be overwhelming for the patient, their family, and caregivers. “The Dementia Journey” is a three-part webinar series that will explore the dementia experience from diagnosis through advanced progression of the illness. Wherever a person is along this journey, this series will offer guidance to help patients and caregivers plan for needs using resources available at each stage of the journey.

Risa Hanau, LCSW is the Clinical and Community Educator at AuthoraCare Collective. Risa is a seasoned presenter and teacher in the area of end-of-life and ethics. She is a member of the Cone Health Ethics Committee. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker by training and holds a Master of Social Work from The University of Pennsylvania.
